Family Fun

We went to the Utah State Fair to see all the animals and enjoy some rides...Gage's favorite animal is a Zebra and he loves horses because they are like zebra's. So when he saw that there were pony rides, he was excited to go and take Aubree, too.

Gage also picked out our next vehicle...I really want a jeep for just a weekend and of course it has to be bright green, and Gage thinks the same way!

But this is the vehicle he's really been waiting to ride!

Fishing

Gage loves to fish as much as go hunting for deer and ant hills...as long as the fish are biting his pole. Well, lucky for him, today they were!!

Standing tall

Aubree has been working on getting herself to a standing position by herself, while holding something. Well, this morning, she succeeded!

She is so proud of herself!!

Gage's science class

Gage loves watching Sid the Science Kid on tv and wants to be just like him in every way. He loves science and is enjoying every second of science in which he made rocks with candy, studied actual rocks, learned about the senses, and is just beginning with the fun!!

A hunting we will go....

Gage has been waiting to go hunting since he was four years old...one of the many reasons he couldn't wait to turn five! He got up at 5:30 in the morning, wondered why you go hunting in the dark, and danced around in his hunting clothes eager to go! He brought his pretend gun and shot at many doves, but the most exciting thing he shot at was some ant hills! He had dad shoot the ant hills, too, and "They exploded and a bunch of red ants came out! It was sooooo cool!!" They only went out for a couple of hours to shoot doves, and he fell asleep on the way home, but can't wait to go again.

Take me out to the ballgame!

We got tickets to go see a Bees game and we hopped on the train and went! Being that this was Gage's first baseball game, he was very excited and can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, it rained hard and the game was postponed for two hours, so we only saw about two minutes of the actual game because it was late, dark, and cold. Gage was disappointed to leave because he wanted to watch the game, run around some more, and see fireworks afterwards. But he still had a great time and keeps asking to go back!

Miscief

Aubree is a very busy girl that gets into everything. If you tell her "no", she looks at you, smiles, and turns and does it any way. She has, however learned that she does not get in trouble when she crawls over to Gage's car box and lifts herself up, picks a car out, puts in her mouth, then throws it down to get another one. She also loves the camera and smiles once she sees it, then starts to talk to about what she's doing! Love this girl!

Baby on the move!!

Aubree is already crawling like crazy by 7 months! She's been trying since 6 months, and now has it down pretty darn good!! She is rolling, sitting up, crawling, and trying to stand all on her own. She's into everything, all over the place, and it's just a short time before she's walking and running to get somewhere!

Aubree's favorite thing to do is crawl over to Gage's box of cars because she can hold herself up, take out cars, put them in her mouth, then throw them on the ground and do it again and again!

As you can see, she is proud of herself, but loves her picture taken, too!

Aubree's first day of day care!  She loves it so much, she falls asleep right when she gets home!

Aubree is happy to be moved to a big girl high chair, she also fits better since she's so small.  Abbie loves it, too!
