Quite a thinker!!

As I've stated in previous posts, Gage's mind is always turning. He will look at something and will think about it for a while, than make a very intelligent comment on it; or if he were to ask something and you tell him no or give him an answer he's not fond of, he'll think and come up with a good argument to change your mind.

Well, here are some stories...
We were going to the mall where there is a train ride that Gage loves to go on, on our way in, we went and talked to a police officer that was outside the doors. He handed Gage a sticker badge, which made him so happy, and talked to him a bit. When we went in, we did some shopping, he looked downstairs to find the train and was happy to see it. While we were in a store, he asked if he could ride the train, and I said I didn't have any money and asked if he did. He said no, but daddy does. So he went and asked daddy, in which daddy said he didn't have any money. So Gage proceeds to ask me again and I said I didn't have any money, and then asked if he did. He said he did in his pockets, then says that he doesn't have any pockets after he looked at his pants. Then said we need to get some money or find some money. I said we wouldn't be able to find any right now, so he said that we need to go back out and ask that car policeman for money!

We were driving in the car to go shopping and Gage said that he wanted to go sledding. I said that there was no snow to go sledding on, and he said, "Yea there is, up in the mountains. Right there, see?!" And I said that it would be too hard to get up to that snow way up in the mountains and we would have to walk and climb a long way and that wouldn't be fun. He thinks for a minute or two and states that, "We can make it, I just need to get my fishing rod and pull myself up to the snow!"

Every morning is quite a chore to get up and get ready for school. I go to wake Gage up and pull his covers up to tell him that he needs to get to get dressed. He says, "No, I'm still 'leepin, I need to 'leep just a little bit."
