Well, it was one of the best decisions we ever made! He is still silly Gage, but is able to really focus and stay focused on his work. It's like the wheels in his head have slowed down to actually go somewhere, rather than spin so fast it was driving him everywhere for just bits at a time. He is able to read more clearly, understand more of what he has read, write more clearly, sit and listen, and speak more clearly. He plays soccer better and is now into Legos and doing so many projects on his own! He's wanting to learn more rather than just lay around and play video games. He still plays his iPad constantly, but not as long and he's not asking to play video games every day. It's amazing!!
He loves his little sister, but when he's focused on his Lego building, he really just wants to be left alone and not have her bothering him.
My favorite statement from this boy when Aubree kept asking him to play with him outside while he was building a Lego thing:
"Why is she always wanting me to play with her?! Can't she see that I'm busy? I have so much to do that I don't have time to play. I need to work on this Lego thing until I'm done with it, so that means I need to work on it every day I get home from school and church."
LOVE THIS BOY OF MINE!
