Gage's mind is constantly at work and the wheels are turning around so fast, I'm not sure how he doesn't get burned out! He will be sitting in the car or sitting watching tv, and he will come up with the most random things to say, that I can't help but laugh!!
When I pick him up from school, I ask him what book he read that day. Well, the first day of school, he quickly told me about the book being about a chicken with the sky falling. But every day since then, he'll say, "I don't remember, tell me." I tell him that I don't know, I wasn't there, that's why I asked him. Then he'll change the subject most of the time, but the other day he kept saying I should tell him the book, and I started to guess what it may be about. And he says, "No, silly. It was about a bunny and a fox!" I asked him if it was funny, and he says, "NO! The bunny had to get away from the fox and it did!!"
When he is in the bathtub, he sings songs often, but most of the time he is busy playing with his superheros and having them take over the bad guy. "You get in there and don't come back out!" "Wait, I don't want to be in here, I'll be nice!" "Ok, but you need to be good now!"
And while he was playing one day in the tub, he randomly came out with, "Mom, Daddy needs to come home so we can go to your doctor. You, me, and daddy need to go to your doctor so you don't get sick."
My favorite so far...We were sitting on the couch, watching tv, and he just comes out and says, "You and daddy need to stop snoring, it's too loud!!" I told him that I don't snore, and he says, "Well, Daddy does and it's too loud and he needs to stop!" I told him he could tell him that when he gets home. He said that he'll tell him when the sun comes up and he wakes him up!
Oh, that boy makes me laugh!!
